The app

What the app stores, and where

Everything you enter, including batches, readings, additions, tasting notes, reminders, recipes and photos, is stored on your device. If you are signed in to iCloud, it is also stored in your private iCloud database so it can sync between your own devices. That database belongs to your Apple Account. We cannot see, read or retrieve anything in it.

The name you can give for the Home screen greeting is kept on your device only.

What we collect

Nothing. The app contains no analytics, no advertising and no third-party tracking. It doesn't ask you to create an account with us.

Permissions the app asks for

• Notifications, to deliver the reminders you create. They are scheduled on your device.
• Camera, only when you choose to take a photo for a batch.
• Photos, only for the pictures you pick to attach to a batch.

You can change any of these at any time in the Settings app.

Purchases

The one-time unlock is processed by Apple through the App Store. We never see your payment details. Apple tells the app only whether the purchase has been made.

Deleting your data

Deleting a batch in the app removes it from your devices and from your iCloud. To remove everything, delete your batches and then delete the app. You can also manage the app's iCloud storage in Settings, under your name, iCloud, Manage Account Storage.

This website

This site sets no cookies and uses no analytics or advertising. Like any website, the company that hosts it keeps standard server logs, such as IP addresses and the pages requested, for security and reliability.

Email

If you write to us, we use your address and message only to reply and to fix the problem you describe.

Children

Just Good Wine is about making alcohol and is intended for adults of legal drinking age where they live.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new date.
